Heritage Society

Winchester Hospital—Heritage Society was first established in 1916 when Sophronia A. Harrington made the first planned gift—a bequest, the simplest of all planned gifts. The Heritage Society recognizes those who have continued Mrs. Harrington's tradition. Gift planning is more than a link to our past; it is the source of our current strength and the promise of a healthy future. It also provides our donors with a way to leave a legacy that perpetuates their most deeply held values.

We wish to thank all members of the Heritage Society for their planned gifts and bequest intentions. Their generosity is vital to the future philanthropic health of Winchester Hospital.

Benefits of membership include:

  • Annual Legacy luncheon and presentation
  • Invitations to other sponsored events
  • Subscription to our Planned Giving Matters publication

The Society recognizes and honors our generous donors who are helping to ensure a future of lasting excellence for Winchester Hospital. Including the hospital in your estate planning and creating a planned gift contributes to our ability to continue our tradition of providing extraordinary care, where the patient comes first, supported by world-class education and research.

We welcome the opportunity to work with you to ensure that your gift meets your specific objectives. It is advisable to consult your attorney or financial advisor before finalizing your plans. This document does not represent legal, accounting, or other professional advice.
